4. AI Chatbot ("Drip")
Our website features Drip, an AI-powered chat assistant built on YelloPost AI. Drip helps answer questions about leak detection, plumbing services, pricing, and scheduling.
4.1 How Drip Works
- Drip is powered by YelloPost AI, which uses Anthropic's Claude AI under the hood via secure API.
- When you send a message to Drip, your message is transmitted to Anthropic's API along with a system prompt that defines Drip's role and our company information.
- Anthropic processes the message and returns a response, which Drip displays to you.
- The conversation continues in your browser session.
4.2 What Drip Collects
- The messages you type into the chat
- The conversation history within your current session (up to the last 12 messages)
- If you provide contact info (name, phone, email) during the chat, Drip captures it for lead follow-up
4.3 How We Use Chatbot Data
- To answer your questions in real-time — messages are processed through Anthropic's API.
- To follow up on leads — when Drip identifies that you've shared your name and contact info, it captures the conversation summary and emails it to our team at [email protected].
- To improve service — we may review conversation logs to improve Drip's responses and identify common questions.
4.4 Anthropic's Data Handling
Anthropic's API is used to power Drip's responses. According to Anthropic's commercial API terms (as of June 2026):
- API conversations are NOT used to train Anthropic's AI models.
- Anthropic retains API data only as necessary to provide the service, in accordance with their privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Please do not share Social Security numbers, full credit card numbers, passwords, bank account numbers, or other sensitive personal information with Drip. The chatbot is for informational, pricing, and lead-capture purposes only. For payment, we will collect that information securely through our payment processor in person or via secure invoice.
4.5 Limitations of Drip
- Drip is an AI assistant. While we've trained it carefully on our services and pricing, it can make mistakes.
- Pricing discussed with Drip is an estimate only — actual pricing is determined after diagnostic inspection.
- For emergencies (active leaks, burst pipes, no water), do not rely on chatbot — call (702) 682-1626 immediately.
- Drip cannot guarantee scheduling — appointments are confirmed by our team.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who help us run our business (see Section 6 — Third-Party Services).
- With your insurance carrier when you authorize us to submit a claim or documentation on your behalf.
- With other contractors or trades when your job requires specialized work outside our license scope (we'll always tell you first).
- To comply with law — if required by subpoena, court order, or government request.
- To protect rights and safety — to investigate fraud, enforce our Terms, or protect our property and people.
- In a business transfer — if Nevada Leak Detection is acquired or merged, your information may transfer to the successor entity.
- With your consent — for any other sharing not described above.
